Shihan Mark Lawrence is a professional instructor with a varied background in the healing, meditative, and martial arts. Mark brings his intuitive style of teaching to the dojo, and keeps the participants laughing while they're learning. Mark teaches the self-protection side of Hoshinjutsu along with the HoshinTao Chi Kung program, and Dr. Glenn Morris's Meditation Mastery and Esoteric Energy seminars. Mark was honoured by the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame by being inducted as the 2006 Man of the Year. Mark is the Canadian Representative for the Hoshinroshiryu, and operates the Kawartha Hoshin Training Centre in Lindsay Ontario, Canada.

Greg Radabaugh

Greg Radabaugh has been slouching in and out of various martial arts for over 40 years. A 30 year retired veteran of the U.S. military, he has been stationed and/or deployed in various dung holes (and a few rare garden spots) throughout the world. He brings some unique, esoteric skills that aren’t usually found in any martial art. He currently resides in San Antonio , Texas —a wonderful state that indulges his eclectic taste in weaponry.


Shihan Steve Noonkesser, Godan

Shihan Steve Noonkesser was one of Dr. Glenn Morris-soke's first students in the early 1980s and his first Godan. He worked with Morris-soke to get the first versions of Hoshinjutsu down on paper and to create the first courses in Hoshin taught at Hillsdale College throughout the 1980s. He has been an avid historian of martial traditions around the world and has taught to a variety of audiences. Shihan Steve Noonkesser now resides in Dillingham, Alaska.


Ian Cox, Sandan

Ian Cox is an internationally recognized author and trainer whose diverse background includes training Commercial flight crew in counter-assualt tactics against armed terrorists and training U.S. Federal agents in High Rise Rescue procedures. Mr. Cox has been certified as an Emergency Medical Technician, Neuromuscular Therapist, and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

He has trained extensively in various systems of
Eastern and Western martial and meditative arts. Mr.Cox is the founder of the Hoshin Kai, an organization devoted to bringing the realistic self-protection skills and unique self-improvement strategies of Hoshin to the general public.


Datu Kelly Worden

Datu Kelly Worden is a world renowned martial artist and recognized Grandmaster Of Natural Spirt International by Arnis Philippines, National Philippine Governing Organization.

Datu has 40+ years of martial arts experience and personal student of Reny A. Presas.  He is an acclaimed writer with published works in Full Contact Magazine, Fighting Knives Magazine, Inside Kung Fu Magazine, Combat Knives Magazine, and Author of Travel Wrench Tactical Book, just to highlight a few.

In 2004, Datu was featured on the History Channel “Tactical to Practical” Instructing Edged Weapons Training to Special Forces Military Operatives.


Rick Wilmott
New Hampshire, USA

Rick Wilmott holds a Renshi license and is a senior teacher under Hanshi Bruce Juchnik, 21st generation inheritor of Kosho Shorei Ryu from Masayoshi Mitose. He also holds Black Belt rankings in 7 other martial arts, including 3 Godan rankings and a Yondan. He has been certified since 1996 as a 2nd Level Shiatsu Practitioner under Sensei Toshiko Phipps, as well as a Kokoro Ryu Reiki Master/Teacher since 1997. In September of 2006 Dr. Miguel E.A. Moore and the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame Sokeship Council awarded Mr. Wilmott a 9th Dan ranking, the title of soke, and membership into the Council. He was included in the Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2000, and was awarded Millenium Master Instructor by Grandmaster Frank Sanchez and The World Head of Families Sokeship Council. Rick has operated Wilmott's Martial Arts Center in Keene, N.H. full-time for almost 20 years, and continues to travel North America teaching and attending seminars to acquire and to share greater and deeper skill and knowledge.

   

Chris Dekker
The Hague

Chris is an accomplished Martial practitioner and instructor in many combat systems with over 20 years of experience. He holds an 8th Dan and title of Shidoshi in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (Ninjutsu) as well as a 5th Dan and title of Shihan in the Hoshin Roshi Ryu. In addition, Chris is the Head of Hoshin in Europe and actively acts under the guidance of Soke Hessie

Chris' experiences are not limited to the Bujinkan and Hoshin. His knowledge also extends into Shinkendo, Filipino Knifefighting, Reality-based systems like Commando Krav Maga, Systema and Fast Defense.

Chris has participated in advanced training from Pedro Fleitas, Jack Hoban and Dr. Glenn Morris. He has also traveled several times to Japan to train at the Bujinkan Hombu Dojo of Soke Dr. Hatsumi.

In addition to Chris' martial experiences, he has developed an extensive esoteric background based in meditation, internal energy focus, Reiki, Moxa therapy, and massage therapy.
