To
obtain this level, the instructor must develop both
dojo and concept shibu in their territory. Their
teaching skills should amply demonstrate the ability
to love others enough to serve as a guide for their
spiritual development. The applicant must also obtain
a masters degree or equivalent in the profession
of their choice. Any student enduring the greater
kan and li may be considered for this rank regardless
of seniority or desire to run a dojo within the
system. Some godan only teach seminars or individual,
hand-selected students. |
